Your posting is a nice surprise! And especially at 3:38am as I sit here in the bonus room at our house alone in silence. (and no, I don’t know why I am checking my email at 3:39am). That is a great picture of Tim and his truck. I wondered if that picture was taken on the day we went riding with Riley and Tim. The setting of the picture appears to be similiar to that which I remember of that day. Yesterday was a good day, other than my phone battery dying yesterday evening, disabling me from calling for awhile. Other than that, a 9 year old girl named Savanna came to spend the night with me. She is in my room right now sleeping on the floor (as I really should be, too). We made a palate of blankets on my bedroom floor because we were “slumber partying”. She has been such a delightful child refresher. We went to rent a movie. I went into Blockbuster excited because I thought we had agreed upon Bee Movie, which I was semi-excited about, only to surrender that excitement when Savanna was most definite that she wanted to rent the movie Bratz, a play-off of the new figurine dolls. Not as stimulating for me, but thats what is on the agenda this morning as we did not watch it upon arriving home because we decided to go lay out on my car to look at the stars with three blankets, three pillows and our pj’s on. It was actually really wonderful. I haven’t done something like that since I was in East Tennessee. Made me happy, and definitely Savanna too. Then we moved our car set up onto our drive way, then up to my room. Thankfully, we were in “bed” by 10pm with lights out. That was nice. So now I am trying to figure out how I am gonna get Savanna up in order to make it to Brentwood by 6:45 this morning to hear a man speak at a meeting. That is the next big challenge.
Anyway, I am still laughing about thinking of you doing this Easter egg hunt. Just such a funny visual. When I am up in East Tennessee in several weeks, I want to see this newspaper write-up that you mentioned. Will help serve in my visualization of such an event
So Mary is coming home this summer? That is exciting to hear. I am curious as to whether she is home permanently or on what is maybe termed “furlough”? If you remember to fill me in on this, I would love to know.
Was next to a smoothie king on Monday, as is not so common for me in this part of the state. Always makes me think of Tim and wheat grass. Ha.
Okey dokey. Its Friday, whoo-hooo. So, as Miley Cyrus sings, “Let’s dance….. through the weekend…..through the night…….all around…….let’s dance…….. every girlfriend……. every boyfriend……… let it out………..let’s take the chance……….get out on the floor and dance.”
Thanks for the surprise blurp

I found your blog from your facebook post. I was looking at those beautiful pictures of you in your wedding dress and of course, Maddy had to join in since she saw it was “Miss Jessica”. She tried to identify your mood in each shot. She did really well with the “happy” pictures, but in the ones where you had a more serious, model-y face, she described three different pictures as “evil, sneaky, and grumpy”. Evil? And then when we finally hit the pics of you and your husband, she said, “There’s Miss Jessica’s daddy!” Aren’t three year olds fun?
